Myth 1: Reiki is not scientific

Myth 2: Reiki is religious or spiritual in a religious way

Myth 4: Reiki must be done in person to work

Reiki can be practiced in person, remotely, or even online. Distance and online Reiki work on the principle that energy isn’t limited by space, allowing healing energy to be sent from anywhere.Studies and many client experiences show that remote Reiki offers benefits similar to hands-on sessions, promoting relaxation and energetic balance without physical contact.

Myth 5: Reiki shows immediate results

Reiki isn’t a magical or instant fix—it’s a deep, intuitive healing that gently untangles the energetic knots we carry, one session at a time. While some people may feel relaxed or experience sensations during or immediately after a session, lasting healing works at its own pace, influenced by your energy, mindset, and timing. Energy healing doesn’t follow our schedules; it flows according to when we’re ready to receive it. So if you don’t feel immediate changes, don’t be discouraged—healing may already be happening in subtle, unexpected ways.
