  • The mother wound forms when our emotional needs as children are unmet whether through absence, over-control, emotional neglect or even small moments where we felt unseen or unsupported.
  • Even minor experiences like a mother leaving for work or being busy can leave a deep imprint on a child’s subconscious.
  • These wounds often show up later in life through relationship struggles, emotional triggers and difficulties in receiving love or feeling worthy.

  • Without realizing it, we begin to mother our daughters from the same emotional space unconsciously passing down inherited patterns.
